We take pride in our ability to offer a range of fixed rates for a variety of legal services including Conveyancing Sales & Purchases, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Directives, Divorce Applications, Leases & Guarantor Advice.
Some matters are more complicated than others, and we will provide you with an estimate of your professional costs once we have a greater working knowledge of your matter. This will allow you to make an informed decision regarding seeking legal help. Some services can only be priced on a per case basis so if your legal requirements fall into one of those, be sure to contact us. We can discuss the matter with you and ensure you are fully aware of the costs before proceeding. This gives you the peace of mind of knowing how much your legal costs are up front, so you don’t receive a bill which was higher than you expected.
Initial Consultation.
We understand that the costs associated with legal matters can be a concern. Therefore, we think it is important to be upfront and open in our communications regarding costs. If you are seeking advice about your situation or need guidance on what to do next, an Initial Appointment with one of our lawyers may be all you need.
Even if you are not planning to take any immediate action, you will gain a better understanding of how the law applies to you and the different pathways you can take to resolve your matter. Any initial questions will be answered which enables you to make an informed decision, know your options, how to proceed, and whether or not to engage us formally as your lawyer.

KCH Lawyers are a Legal Aid Queensland Preferred Supplier. Legal Aid Queensland gives legal help to financially disadvantaged Queenslanders about criminal, family and civil law matters. Depending on your situation and the details of your legal matter, you may be eligible for Legal Aid Queensland to fund your legal costs. Conveyancing Fees.
We offer fixed fees for conveyancing matters, which applies to residential properties in urban localities and excludes ‘off-the-plan’ contracts.
Our fixed fee includes all things reasonably necessary to complete the conveyancing process from signing to settlement. If you do require advice about your contract before you sign, we are able to provide pre-contract advice for an additional fee charged on a time basis. Please contact our office for an estimate of those additional fees.
Outlays such as title searches, council searches, registration fees, stamp duty etc. are in addition to our fixed fee.
