WAYNE HOWARD – LL.B (Hons)
Wayne has practiced as a lawyer for over 28 years and was admitted to practice as a solicitor in February 1988. In April 1988 he commenced employment as a solicitor at Kerry Connolly & Associates.
Wayne was born in Rockhampton and spent his childhood on his parents’ properties at Banana and between Rolleston and Injune. The family moved to Rockhampton where they have strong ties.
After completing his education in Rockhampton Wayne commenced employment at the Local Magistrates Court Office. He completed a Bachelor of Laws at the Queensland University of Technology studying externally.
In his early years in private practice Wayne worked in a broad range of areas including personal injuries, care and protection applications, all aspects of family law, criminal law, conveyancing and some commercial law. Over the years, his practice has become more specialised and is now primarily Family Law, Wills and Estates, Commercial Law and general matters.
ELLA BENNETT – LL.B, GradDipLP
Ella completed her law degree in 2014, and was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in early 2016. Ella has worked at KCH Lawyers throughout her studies and is experienced in commercial areas of law, including contract drafting, leases, litigation, rural contracts, business contracts and franchise advice.
Originally from the Sunshine Coast, Ella has called Rockhampton home for the past five years, and lives on the land just outside Rockhampton with her husband Ben. She has an interest in rural matters and looks forward to developing her expertise in this area, and commercial law generally.
KORIN JENSEN – LL.B B.Bus
Korin commenced her article clerkship in 2002 and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2004, employed by a large law firm in Bundaberg. She was employed at that same firm for close to 14 years.
She was born in Rockhampton, completing her schooling here and recently returned to her home town with her husband, Dan, and two children.
Korin is experienced in the areas of Commercial and Property Law, including lease advice, drafting commercial, business, residential and rural contracts, conveyancing as well as the preparation of Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
After a short break from the law, Korin is enjoying the return to the career she loves and looks forward to meeting new and existing clients of KCH Lawyers
VICKI VINCENT – Senior Conveyancing Officer
Vicki has been working in the legal industry since 1999 and while she has experience in a number of areas, her passion for all things property has allowed her to find her calling with cottage conveyancing. Vicki was a welcomed addition to the KCH Conveyancing team in 2012 and delivers exceptional service to our clients.
NARELLE HILL – Legal Secretary
Narelle has worked alongside Wayne in the areas of Family Law, Estate Planning and Estate Administration for over 10 years.
Originally from Victoria, Narelle, her husband and two children have called Rockhampton home since the early 2000’s. Prior to the move, Narelle worked in a law practice in Victoria. Spending most of her career in the legal industry, Narelle has a wealth of knowledge which means she can offer our clients invaluable support and a unmatched level of understanding.
BRENDA BURNS – Legal Secretary
Brenda commenced with KCH Lawyers in April 2016 as a conveyancing assistant and is now personal assistant to Korin Jensen whilst providing support in the areas of residential, commercial and business conveyancing. Brenda has completed her Associate Degree in Law (Paralegal Studies) and brings with her 25 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant.
KATE HORSMAN – Receptionist
Kate joined KCH Lawyers in February 2012 and was a new comer to the legal industry after many years in the hospitality industry both here and abroad. Her friendly yet professional manner will put clients at ease when making enquires or booking of appointments. Kate also provides administrative support to the rest of the team.
